There are a lot of custom commands used to immerse you into the world of LoM. Some may be locked behind a skill that you have to obtain while others are a variation of a command. Some commands will also not show up in the tool tip when typing them in Minecraft.
One thing you may notice is that players have names and skins that are not their normal Minecraft display, this is due to our Character system. This allows you to have multiple roleplay characters on one account, allowing you to switch between them at a moments notice. By typing /char
you can pull up the character selector.
You will have 3 slots to begin with but as you level up various skills you can gain more slots.
When you select a slot you will be initially create a copy of your current skin and name. To change your name simply type /nick
then insert the name of your character, i.e. /nick Jimmy
. Changing your skin is slightly more tedious. First you will need to make a link with your skin, a simple way of doing so is to upload it into discord. Then copy the link of your skin. In Minecraft navigate to the character slot you want to change with /char
. Then type /skin
and paste the link of your skin, then type whether you want it in the classic or slim type at the end of the link and hit enter. Feel free to ask in the discord if you need help in changing your skin. /skin fetch (username)
gives you a link to the skin that a given person uses. For example, /skin fetch DaniDipp
will give you Dani's currently equipped skin.
Another think to note is that the inventory between characters is not shared, meaning one character can have one set of items while the other does not. However skills are locked to each Minecraft account.
