¶ Intro:
This is a quickly made guide to inform new members of the rawb.tv community on how to earn money in Lords of Minecraft 2, as it opens many doors in roleplay opportunities, such as purchasing from shops, and constructing plots. This will only briefly run down the ways to make money however checking out the [JOBS] (or any additional pages mentioned) will go more in-depth for each of these activities and any extra goodies they can net.
¶ Jamthany Jourdain:
This is Jamthany Jourdain! Once every 20Ish hours he can give you an influx of money from a handful of copper up to some gold! He is not limited to any 1 currency either, it can be a combination of copper, silver and gold! You can find him directly to the right from spawn on the edge of the fort between 2 campfires.
¶ [Muk-Ing];
Identifying Jamie
By visiting Jamie Franklin (right from where you spawn) on your way out from spawn you'll notice you can buy some tools from him! Your first tool should be a wooden shovel as it allows you to “Muk” (Soul Sand) anywhere in town! Just right-clicking any Muk block gets you started immediately as long as you aren't in any special pose (Sitting, crawling, laying). Afterwards, you'll find some “Junk” (it's not) and more importantly Muk and Muk Pies! Muk can be sold for a random amount of copper at a final 3rd NPC named "Jimothy Worrywart" just outside the fort to the right!
However, be careful! Like any activity that gains levels, you'll notice it consumes your health because it is also your [STAMINA]! You are less productive at any tasks that can consume [STAMINA] if you're down to the minimum 3 hearts, will not gain any [EXP] and finally, it will lower your chance of any additional goodies. You can recover stamina easily by eating food (remember the Muk pies?) or sitting via /sit or right-clicking a stair/slab with an air block over it.
(You can also obtain a shovel for free via a lever in the sewage plant once you find it, as well as acquire further additional goodies when Muk-ing a special way there)
¶ [Fishing];
Returning to the prior mentioned Jamie youll notice among the tools he offers are fishing rods for 25 silver. These can be used very similarly to normal fishing rods allowing you to hook entities and drag them, and fish. Fishing in the city only requires time and a water source block, and is FULLY afk, does not consume health!
While slow,fishing is always profitable and more then consistent a way to obtain reagents or upgrade materials for magic like playing cards, bones and shells. (See [Magic] for more details)
As for selling these off you can visist Jimothy once again and sell as many bones, shells and fish you have! Better news yet, recently they added bulk selling of fish to his menu.
¶ [Mining];
Once again and Jamie you can find a pickaxe from him for 45 silver. Mining is a special activity located inside dwarven districts mine mountain, where you search for ore to dig up (consuming stamina and granting EXP when it does).
Mining has some quriks to it so here is the simple rundown and all referance images are below. Ore comes in 3 stages, all dropping loot (Ore, stone and special consumable rocks), they spawn in veins at fixed points in the mind in a random enough assortment. When you break a higher teir of ore it has a chance to go flying and eitehr break or turn into the next teir below where they land. Whenever an ore prduces drops theres a small chance a rare rock spawns and nearly always some ore, stone is garneteed! You also gain more drops, statistically by using stamina when breaking ore as well so rest often!.
Once youve loaded up on stone and ore you can sell (you can bulk sell here too) at Jimmy Jordonson whom is located in the center of the spawn fort!
