When it comes to rules, they are usually common curtesy type rules. So no bullying and stuff like that.
Since there are people who can be livestreaming, it's best to keep mature content on the down low. After all you don't know who is or isn't livestreaming.
There are 2 general types of roleplay here on the server. Spontanious roleplay and planned roleplay. Each one comes with it's benefits and drawbacks.
Spontanious roleplay is any unplanned roleplay and can be initiated or joined at any given time. These make up the majority of the roleplay on the server and can be initiated with simple things like a "Hello".
Planned Roleplay is usually planned on the server's discord. They usually consist of events and parties. While they don't need any commitment it's best to sit through the enitre thing. These also have a chance to slpit off into spontanious roleplay at the end.
As you play you will notice that players chat's will appear on their head. This is your in character chat. If noone is in range to hear you speak a notification will pop up above your hotbar to tell you. It should be noted you cannot use chat roleplay in the Royal District unless you yourself are a Royal or Paladin.
If you want to talk out of character you will have to prefix your message with "((" for example ((Well that was a development. If you want your messages to appear over a longer distance, prefix your message with an !, ie !Get back here Jimmey.
In order to gain access to Microphone Roleplay you must to two things. First download the mod "Simple Voice Chat", that way even if you can't talk you can hear those who can. Second fill out the nessessary form provided by the admins in order to speak. It should be noted that Microphone Roleplay has similar restrictions to Chat. You cannot speak in the Royal District unless you are a Paladin or Royal.
You can initiate roleplay with other people just by talking with them. Joining in events. Or answering someone's request on the Job Board.
